Map Management

This page is accessed via the Menu () on the Home Screen and provides map management tools covering the same map-related operations as the official app. Managing the layout through this card provides the following advantages over the mobile app:

• Desktop Precision: Using a keyboard and mouse on a large monitor provides greater precision when manipulating map elements compared to using a touchscreen.
• Unified Editing Interfaces: Unlike the official app, which isolates every object type into its own dedicated page, this card consolidates map operations to eliminate the need to switch between different pages for different object types:
  • Rooms (): Room-related structural modifications, such as merging, dividing and naming rooms.
  • Objects (): Physical elements, including carpets, curtains and furniture.

Map List

Provides options to manage saved floors and multi-story homes. This screen includes the master multi-floor map toggle switch.

• Create Map: Clicking the button in the top right corner opens the create new map dialog on devices with available map slots. It initiates a new mapping task by calling either the dreame_vacuum.start_fast_mapping or dreame_vacuum.start_mapping service.
• Rename: Assigns a custom name to a saved map using the dreame_vacuum.vacuum_rename_map service.
• Restore: Navigates to the Recovery Map List for the selected map.
• Select: Calls the dreame_vacuum.vacuum_select_map service to change the active map.
• Rooms: Navigates to the Saved Map Editing interface.
• Objects: Navigates to the Object Editing interface to manage physical elements on the floor. This icon is only visible on the active map.
• Wi-Fi Map: Navigates to the Saved Wi-Fi Map interface. This icon is only visible on the active map.

Deleting a Map

Swiping Left across an item reveals the Delete () button. A Long press on touch devices or a Right-click with a mouse also reveals this button.
